Debra Swift is the original founder and current owner of Swift Audiology and has been in practice for over 35 years. She has been providing excellence in Hearing Healthcare since 1987 in Washington, Fayette, Westmoreland, Greene, and Allegheny Counties. Debra is Nationally Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences and has served on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Hearing Healthcare Association as past Treasurer and is currently serving as Secretary. She was awarded the PHHA President’s award for outstanding service and has received the Melvin Jones Fellowship award from the Lions Club, for her service in helping those in need of hearing help.
Debra is driven by her passion to offer each patient an improved quality of life, through better hearing and communication. Continuing education is a way of life for Debra and her highly qualified team. This keeps them on top of the latest cutting-edge technologies available in hearing devices, as well as the most current testing and verification equipment.
Above all else, service, ethics, and personalized care are what she lives and breathes. These are the necessary elements in providing the most beneficial hearing healthcare.
Megan M. Myers-Auria, Au.D., CCC-A, received her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University in 2012. She previously received her BS in Communication Disorders from California University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Myers-Auria has been providing excellent patient-centered care at Swift Audiology for almost a decade. She also has been active in the neighboring communities providing educational seminars, presentations, and physician outreach. Helping her patients hear better, so they can enjoy their relationships with their friends and loved ones to the fullest is what Dr. Megan loves the most.
Tammy Swift is a PA licensed Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist and also has Lyric extended wear certification. She has worked for Swift Audiology since 2011. Tammy truly is committed to the highest level of care for her patients.
She is knowledgeable about all digital devices and the latest technologies. She believes that better hearing is attainable for everyone, and she will work with you until you are hearing well.
She is experienced in fitting hearing devices for individuals of all ages, and she often finds the most challenging cases to be the most rewarding!
Dr. Lauren Carmen is a patient-focused audiologist with experience in hearing and vestibular diagnostic and rehabilitation services for primarily adult individuals. Her experience includes audiological care at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), and before finishing her doctorate degree, she completed a yearlong externship at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. These experiences have given her the strong ability to work with a variety of hearing aid manufacturers as well as the most up-to-date hearing technology in order to provide the highest quality of patient-centered care. She is eager to help individuals hear better and enjoy the sounds of life again.
Dr. Carmen obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Communication Sciences and Disorders and received a Doctorate of Audiology at Rush University in Chicago Illinois.
