Hearing Loss Prevention

Noise exposure is one of the most common causes of hearing loss.

There are many ways to protect your ears from loud noises. Wearing ear protection when working around loud machinery or vehicles, or even while at concerts or other loud events can prevent damage to the ear. Even the sound of a loud blender or ambulance can damage an ear, so taking precautions when you can is key!

Do you work or play in areas with loud sounds and are unsure if your hearing protection is adequate? Custom earplugs can be fitted to your needs. These earplugs are designed to quickly and easily be molded to the shape of your ear, allowing you to experience quality and comfort as you protect your hearing.

Musicians may even be interested in special ear monitors for their on-stage listening and performing experience. This technology can allow musicians to hear the way they want while playing or singing, whether that means blocking out other sounds or focusing on specific sounds.

We offer two different fit options for ear protection:

Custom-Molded Earplugs: (Recommended)

These earplugs are created by taking an impression of your ear to have them fit the individual shape of your ear canal. Custom molds are comfortable and reduce the sound equally across high and low spectrums, making this earplug ideal for musicians, shooters, machinists, dentists, and motorsport enthusiasts. Custom plugs are also used for swimming and sleep. You may have custom-molded earplugs made by scheduling an appointment at one of our offices.

Over-the-Counter:

This form of ear protection is usually disposable or can be multiple uses. These earplugs will reduce all sounds to some extent and are great for reducing higher-pitched sounds. These earplugs are inexpensive options that we also offer. When inserted properly they should fit in a way that completely seals the ear canal.
