5 Reasons Our Patients Choose Swift

When it comes to choosing the right audiology practice to treat hearing loss your choices can be overwhelming. We took some time to ask our patients why they choose Swift Audiology to address their hearing concerns; here are the top 5 responses.

1. I was listened to.
This seems like a no-brainer, right? But we have all had the experience, whether at a medical office or at the local restaurant where the person assisting you just doesn’t listen to what you’re trying to say. Debra Swift of Swift Audiology has always been of the mindset that the easiest way to help our patients is to listen to them. Identify what the issues are, listen to what concerns the patient really has, and then work with them to make the best decision for their hearing health together.

2. The offices and staff were professional and welcoming.
At Swift Audiology all of our staff members are trained in patient-centered care at the forefront of their daily tasks. We understand that hearing loss isn’t an easy thing to address and when you visit us, we want you to instantly feel at ease and trusting of our staff and services.

Our staff consists of Doctors of Audiology, as well as the highest certification possible in Pennsylvania, Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialists. You may also have been seen by our Audiology Techs, as they train to become apart of the Swift Audiology culture. But don’t worry they have been trained from day one, in the Swift Audiology philosophy of patient care.

3. They took the time to explain everything to me.

And when someone says everything we mean everything! There is a lot of information that goes into having your hearing examined. Our professionals will review the entire hearing test with you so you understand your hearing loss, the audiogram, and the effects hearing loss has on your lifestyle. You’ll be given a full overview of the different types of hearing device technologies, as well as an accessory that you may be interested in. Often times you are able to demo the type of hearing aid to show you the impact on your ability to hear better before you even leave the office.

We welcome patients to call or come back in, so we can answer additional questions that come up through the process of learning and using hearing aids. It can be a bit overwhelming at first, the Swift doors are always open to help you troubleshoot and gain confidence with your devices. This open door policy is part of our Swift Audiology Purchase Agreement that comes with hearing aids purchased directly from Swift Audiology. Our main goal is to ensure that you are hearing better by wearing the proper hearing devices.

4. They offered a variety of products.
Many times hearing aid practices or hearing benefit plans will offer limited hearing aid styles and technology levels. Swift Audiology works hard at building the right relationships with the right manufacturers and that doesn’t mean just one. We offer all models, technology ranges and a wide variety of brands (manufacturer) to our patients based on their lifestyle and the hearing loss prescription of each individual. This allows us to ensure that you are fit with the best device to help you accomplish your hearing treatment goals; whether that be budget, cosmetic appeal, performance and sound quality in noise, wireless connectivity, or all.

5. Family-owned and operated.
The best-kept secret about Swift Audiology is that we are a family-owned and operated business, and the owner Debra Swift, a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, is still seeing patients daily. Debra’s son and niece are preparing to keep the Swift family name growing well after Debbie decides to retire (which we’ve been told is a long way off, because she loves what she does!).
